England’s Royal Renown in the Coronation of Our Gracious Soveraign King James the 2d. and His Royal Consort Queen Mary (1685)

Noble hearted English boys,
Fill the air with music noise,
James the fountain of our joys,
The nation’s sole defender,
He’s the monarch of the land,
We’ll obey his great command,
’Tis but duty, heart and hand,
When we do all surrender.

May the nation now obey
James who does the sceptre sway,
Let his power n’er decay,
But ever be increased:
Now the storm is over-blown,
Royal James enjoys his own,
In the glory of his throne,
Since Charles the great’s deceased.
